A moderate trek through the foothills, five to six hours of walking a day, with porters carrying your bag between family tea houses.
Rest days are built in, so there is time for monasteries, villages and the view at sunrise.

Arrival and the first villages
City tour, drive to the trailhead and the first tea house.
- Days 4–10
On the trail
Ridges, rhododendron forests and a sunrise viewpoint.

Down to the lake
Back to the valley and two easy days by the lake.
